indicator unit

Does any one know where the indicator unit is located on a 350i (1987)?

Im sure i spotted mine just above the steering column behind the clocks when i was trying to get my fingers to a bulb

ive got all my dash out at the moment to reveneer, what does the indicator unit look like?

It looks like a rectangular box with male spade connectors at the bottom.Tempus

Do they make louder ones? I can never hear mine above the engine noise and it doesn't always self cancel.

You can just tag a bleeper on to the relay.Tempus
