As I missed live World Supersport race I only just caught it on Motors TV Thurs night (thank heavens for full replay on Motors TV).
What a stunning performance from the Aussie Slider- 17th on grid to nearly a podium.
Best of all on a Daytona 675 with minimal factory backing & test set up. In fact THREE of them in top 12 I reckon.
Brilliant.
Anybody remember when a British bike last finished as well at world level??

Doh ! Stoopid me how could I forget?
It did occur to me after my post that of course Craig Jones was also last rider to win on Triumph 600 at TT, or did Bruce Anstey also ride one?

I think Craig Jones won the final super sport race in BSB that Triumph competed in.

Bruce Anstey? rings a bell, but I'm not sure. Could use Google, but that would be cheating.
