Hi all,

I'm in the early stages of getting an Elise; likely a 111R or 111S.

I've done quite a lot of research on here & seloc but the one thing I haven't been able to find out is whether it is possible to de-activate airbags on Elise's. I'm not specifically after airbags (I'd prefer not) but if the right car comes up I could do with knowing just for the odd ocasion where I may need to carry my little boy.

I've searched the forums as best I can but can't find an answer - can anyone help...??

Many thanks,

Stephen

as far as I'm aware, the Elise doesn't come with a passenger airbag, only a driver's one. Someone with more knowledge of the later models will be able to tell you for sure, though.

Best of luck finding one!

Buy any Elise that isn't a MY08 or anything without the Super Touring pack and you won't get air bags smile
