New GT3 available now at list.
Discussion
New GT3 are available now at list price ...in the USA.
By browsing through a couple of US Porsche forum,I have come across 3 good spec delivery mileage GT3 available at list price from main dealers.
There is a different dealer system in the USA the dealers have to take allocations and order cars for their stock, rather than the maddening restricted supply and 18 month wait procedure we go through with the Uk market.
I was looking to go with one of these 3 months ago in thee Uk,at the prospect of an 18mth wait I have found other Porker distractions..

Having spoken to an American chap at the Ring in May, who was over collecting his GT3 for a european hoon prior to delivery in the USA, it would also appear they pay significantly less for the priviledge of GT3 ownership as well. Although they can't order the CS version though!!
I've also read stories that the Cayenne is not selling as well as anticipated in the US, with a few dealers having 50+ spare units clogging up the car park.
DAZ
O/T Trust the 993RS is getting driven as the designers intended.

What a difference 3500 miles across the atlantic ocean makes Daz! We tend to be too nice...respect the K-N but is not a good enough overall package,,the americans clearly demonstrate this by keeping $ in their wallets..The dealer system i mentioned will cause stockpiles which won't occurr in the manipulated UK market...Did you see my post on very restricted 04 TT production?
I am starting to get the hang of the RS,,I am definitely the weak link in the overall peformance package at the moment.
What I have found is that feeling every bump and more noise, you can have a lot of fun at....85-100mph.
Clearly the car is capable of more,I think I need to keep it for a while to further my 911 driving experience.
I did take a fellow P/header for a short blast last night, which i think went down quite well.

William go to see you at the kit-car show!
A GT3 has to appeal at some point in terms of ticking it off a list.
I think I will stick with the RS maybe for many months to a year, next is probably a 993 GT2 or if I am feeling more mature (unlikely) a 996 TT.
I am in no real rush to change as this car was more or less what i was looking for.
And as for you i look forward to kicking a few tyres on a quality 928 up for sale.
