Hi Spawn, clonks seem to be associated with diff mounting bushes?? Me been reading a lot on here!!
This is more of a gear swishing noise not quite a whine, but the 4.5 has a hydratrack LSD.
So was wondering if this noise is pointing to a LSDiff problem?
Only just picked it up today!
Well pleased as the dealer has had the carpet repaired (heel wear) and fitted new rear tyres and new disks to the front! Also undersealed the chassis, which I need as no garage and its on the drive!
(But going to build a car port!)
Dealers have lost the cats, but have ordered some to give me a 1 year MOT as you'd expect off a main dealer??

Only picked mine up on Wednesday Steve.
Mine only seems to happen a certain times, but I am hear big 'clonks' from the rear. I've had a friend in the car who knew straight away it was the diff..
It seems to happen occasionally when I lift the clutch earlier than perhaps I should (still getting used to it). Will keep researching.
