Gallardo 2006+

Seem to remember reading somewhere that Gallardo from 2006 onwards is a better car, but can't remember why. Can anyone tell me? Interested, but obviously most for sale are pre 2006.

Shorter gearing, faster steering ratio, louder exhaust are the main changes.

Shorter gearing, faster steering ratio, louder exhaust are the main changes.

+20bhp. Overall a much better can that the 04/05, worth the premium and the residuals are good. Also many more options from 06 onwards, e.g. callistos, reversing camera etc.

What about clutches. All the earlier cars seem to have got through a few. Are the 2006+ ones any better?

No clutch issues,just about everything on the car is just that little bit better than the early cars, suspension works better, seats more comfortable, better quality materials used inside ETC
