Hi

I am just embarking into the world of TVR ownership.

I am lining myself up with wedge for the end of the year, but because I have been a biker since birth I only passed my car test this year.

I am 33, so should get classic insurance no probs, but can someone recommend a good cheap company, I am a TVRCC member (bin to Le Man twice now and enjoyed the coach trips into town!!!), so that should help !!

Any advice appreciated. I need to stop drooling at picutes and get on with purchasing !!

Thanks

Wayne

Phone those classic lines in the TVR CC magazine
- they are very reasonable.

Not sure what they will make of someone with no
driving experience going straight to a TVR though...

Yes it is .. you know it makes sence

I use Classicline for my 400SE. 01455 891330 cannot fault them .. competitive, reliable.. they send me new certificates when I loose mine ( quite often!), offer limited mileage options to really keep the costs down. and if you need to use their legal side ... well, lets just say, im impressed

Thanks for the advice, I might have to just continue using my old banger and wait until next year !!!

Mind you with winter prices, I could always buy and store one !!!

Whats your quotes like? You might have to put up with limited milage, larger excess etc but you should be able to get a decent quote.

I use A. Manning (UK) Ltd, as recommended by the club and as advertised in Sprint. £285 fully comp inc'l track day cover for a 420 SEAC and a 39 year old.

I'm currently using Footman James, and was very impressed with the quote.
