excitment building

this is going to be my fifth year at lemans and i am still wetting myself with excitement.
i am 19 and have been an avid car fan since birth.
2010 will be my first year driving there in my own car but this year the same as the last 2 years i am going in a 350z, 2009 will see the arrival of my dads new GT-R and so will be in that, and then in 2010 i am aiming to have a 350z myself so will go in that.
Lemans is possibly one of the things i look forward to most of all, even more than holidays with friends, lemans just has it all.
Fine food, fine wine, great cars, great people and above all else an atmosphere that is just spine tingling.
I don't think i have ever been dissapointed at lemans, not once.
Even last year with the terential downpours and the muddy circuit.
Just a great place to be and a marvellous holiday that is anticipated from the moment i come off the ferry at dover.
Looking forward to 2008 more and more each day.
hopefully will see a few cars that i recognise from here and perhaps even meet a few people that i have spoken to on here.
Look out for a blue 350z with carbon bonnet and a red nissan r34 GTR.
Say hi if you see us, I'll be in the passenger seat (most of the time (: )

Been every year, bar two, from 1996. I thoroughly enjoy the event and all assoicated with it, including the journey there and back. Can't wait to get my ears on and have Radio LM live again! R.

Good man! I am getting too excited as well! I think I was 19 on my first visit, and its my 6th this year.

BTW, the R34 you mentioned, its not that one I see there every year with the plate NISMOS is it? Cant be that many red R34's around....

it is yes, followed usually by a blue 350z with NISMO R on the plate

2008 will be my first year and I'm wondering if there is the remotest chance that I could build it up in my mind so much that I'm not completely blown away? I mean, what could possibly be as good as the 5-7 day bender that most seem to describe........

Ah sweet! I always see it parked in parking rouge. Very nice. Saw it the first time in 2003 with a yellow Evo, we had a play with them on the way back.

I think I only saw two other red R34's and one was an RB30 conversion.

So whos car is it then?

yes it was me in the yellow evo, my first year that was, were you in a ferrari 360 by chance, that we desimated at 175mph.
fun times when the police used to just ask for a quick backhander, now there are points and impounding involved.
