Just intrigued... I am guessing quite a few of us have a few bits dotted about the shed/garden!, atleast I hope I am not the only one...

So far, we have:
Merc Suprex head and gearbox - block sold (was FUBAR'd!)
2x A-series and gearbox

I have another motive for this thread - depending on what everyone else has I may ask you for absolute measurements - length, height, width... as I am trying to work out what will fit in a car I aim to give a transplant to (smart), mostly FWD/MR stuff is of interest in this respect though. thumbup

Presently I think I'm down to just 3 RV8's, a GM180, a LT77 and a T5. Was forced to have a clear out last year and lost an Jag 6 pot a couple more RV8's, and an O series, a pair of Cologne V6's and a Type 9 but they went to good homes, and not the knackers yard.

Regards
Iain

Oh, st and my brother is keeping a VW flat 4 in the back room.

ETA, sorry, yes me again, there's also a spare 4 speed ZF auto here too

Just an RV8 here. Had my A-Series turbo on the garage floor for 12 months, but it recently went back into the car.

I've got a TD5 and 3 RV8s. If you can shoehorn any of those in a Smart, I want to see the pictures of the accident.

hehe Got plenty of other bits along similar lines...

The A-series are unknowns, they're dads really - from a morris minor I believe...

Anyone got anything from a FWD car which is transversely mounted?

Im after something to fit in a space (inc gearbox) that is only 800mm wide, 600mm deep and preferably under 600 tall - though I have a little wiggle room with that last one...

Anyone have a 4AGE sitting about with gearbox?/ is there a website with this information about?? Google reveals little of interest... frown

Volvo B200FT under the bench, Volvo B230 with B234 head on the stand, 2 more B234's being delivered next week (16v engines).

Do you see a theme developing here? tongue out

Unfortunately there seems to be a complete lack of T5 gearboxes in that list- probably due to my complete lack of finances.
