Trackday "get you home" Wheels & Tyres

What do folks do about leaving all their rubber on the track and getting home on slicks? Would some cheap steel rims and legal rubber fit in the boot in case your alloys are bald? For sure the skinny spare can only be used one at a time but maybe some Scorpio wheels would be legal?

have you tried to get a set of four wheels into any car boot?

Could run home on 4 of the unicycle wheels they gave as a spare, although I wouldn't recommend it.
