Im putting a dry sump on the Chevy 6.3 and wondered where best to mount the oil pump?
Im running the altenator and air con from the either side of the block , with the Altenator belt running on the lower pulley. The air con runs round both block pulleys and the unit itself is fitted to the drivers side.
Many thanks
JK

Hi Jonathan

This is the standard layout used. This pic is from Craigs Ultima website in the States. The alternator is relocated to a high mount above the A/C pump. The alternator is of the smaller motorsport high output type. Hope this helps.
