200 posts....had to have it on biker banter ! How f*cking bored am i? tongue out

Going back to work on 24th of March...phased return for first month or so, but important bit is...back on full wages! Can start saving properly for my 2nd bike! Don't think I will get it this year...but next summer is my target ! Feeling better each and every week..I'm off most of those daft painkillers ! So my mind is just about back to its usual level of fuzziness ! I'm getting a bit pee'd off being stuck in this house..it will be nearly a year to the day on my return to work that my back went...bit weird ! That's nearly a year off my work..enough to do anyone's nut in, but my employer has been very good and understanding. Still have a bit of pain/aching kind of feeling in my back..but I think I will always have some pain throughout my life, one of those things I guess.

Just want to say a big thank you to all who have kept me sain on this section of the website over the past 8 months or so...have had a lot of good advice/laughs. Just one summer of jealously and frustration at being kept in a car..then hopefully get my new chariot next year.

One quick question..can I hire a bike despite the fact that I have no bike insurance of my own? Would like to treat myself to a weeks hire if possible later on this year.

Again..thanks to all.

Barry.

Glad to hear things are looking up smile I believe you can hire a bike as you would a car, you would be covered by the company policy. smile

I know how you feel, I spent nearly a year being unable to walk through a bike accident.

What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger.

Up and about mate - just a bit painfull in mornings really, off most of daft pills, coming off the anti-epileptic ones this week, that has to be done really slowly, after that I will go back to work, never thought I'd say it but I can't wait!

Thanks for the good wishes mate thumbup
