Thanks to everyone who replied to the call for payments - all accounted for now.

The plans are reasonably simple. wobble

Please arrive at the venue by 18:45, for a briefing and a prompt start. There will be 4 karts on the ice at any time, so either they will split us into 4 teams, or we will do that ourselves.

The first half of our evening will be a fixed number of laps per person, to have a play in the karts and get used to the ice. There will be a 15 minute interval whilst they clean the ice, and make the course a little more "interesting", and then we will be in an enduro type race, with each team deciding on the driver strategy.

You may bring your own helmet, but these will be provided, and you are advised to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet!

Trophies will be awarded, and then those who wish to eat will head off to Kabirs in nearby Crowthorne Kabirs at about 21:30

I have agreed a £12.50 per head(£7.50 for those who have paid the £5 meal deposit smile ) 2 course meal. We will have mixed starters for all, but you may choose your main course on arrival. I will bring menus along on Thursday evening, and will try to make sure that you are able to choose before we arrive there - to avoid a lengthy wait. We will have two tables of 8 and 2 tables of 6, and i have suggested to the restaurant that each table runs its own bar tab (or pays for each round as it is ordered).

I look forward to seeing you there, and to having a fun evening.

To those i haven't met, please come and say hello (I'm the slim, good looking chap with dark hair laugh )

To those who know me, mines a Cobra !! beer

I did this once before with the South West lot in Bristol. Cleaning the course makes everything a good deal wetter - a change of clothes is definitely handy!

Was so looking forward to being cold, wet and sliding around for a few hours... sounds like most TV&S hoons to be honest! hehe
