Having seen the lovely advert in Sprint for the Morgans, iam now contemplating selling the Tivver and getting one. Has anyone else done this transition? Any Advice welcome.

Chaps, I am looking at a Morgan Aero due to the bulletproof mechanicals and rarity, and good depreciation. That said, I always wanted a Tamora and at half the price for the same performance as the Aero, it's a relative bargain.

The one thing that has put me off is the Speed Six engine. I have met plenty of owners who have had issues.

That said, is there a point after which the engine was properly put together and will be more reliable? 2004 Tamoras can be had for about £20k, and that is a lot of car for the money...

Any thoughts appreciated.

Jeffsy isn't buying a Morgan now. He did think about it but decided aginst it after a couple of test drives..... his decision now involves something with a V12 scratchchin

One qualification for buying a morgan is you need to be fairly old !

The only Morgan owner I know is, erm, actually quite hard to age, but I suspect he's not that old.

I'd consider one if they weren't so bloody expensive. paperbag
