had the car about a month now and ive noticed if i leave it to idle on the drive from cold there will be a oily/watery droplet residue under the exhausts, when the car is warm its fine.it had a oil change recently and oil still looks good so should i be concerned or is this fairly normal?

This is normal, especially if the zorst has had the baffles removed.

Reverse it up to something white and start it up. Does it pepper the wall/door? Will if no cats.

Any combustion process will produce water. Water combines with sulphur compounds in fuel and produces sulphuric acid.
Hence mild steel exhausts rot out from inside....hence best to give any car a good run to get exhaust as hot as possible to evaporate water/liquid produced.

What he said! - So much fun, especially if the other car has just been cleaned.
