Hello all,

I'm looking at some software for planning staff holidays. We've got 30 people so coordinating holidays is a bit of a knightmare at times. We're using http://www.whosoff.com/ but I was wondering if any of you use anything else that you can suggest.

Regards

Amar

That looks pretty good to me! Might have a closer look at using that as it has some nice views on it. Our current system is worse than that, so cant recomend anything!

We just have a shared outlook calendar for the team on which holidays get recorded. We all have access to it so it's easy to see if others are off when you want to be and it's easy for the person signing off the request to check that there is cover.

Cheers guys,

Timja, it is quite a decent bit of kit to be honest, just wondered if there were other solutions out there.

That looks great to me, will be using this from now on. Beats our old outlook system hands down!

We do holiday planning:

http://www.aballantine.com

We integrate with Exchange too and can populate people's Calendars with vacation bookings approved in the system. Happy to do a deal...

It does lots of other stuff too, of course...

We have scaled this up to thousands of users for an international company with offices all over the world and our smallest installation is just 12 users.

Oh we could host if necessary but if you want to run it in house on a spare PC/Server it does that no problems.
