Useful find for TomTom users?
Discussion
I was tickled by the idea of Garmins being able to record your trip details and download them to PC. "That would be a fantastic add-on to a TomTom for dry-running cruises," I thought.
A bit of Googling revealed something called Eventlogger. I haven't tested it yet, but I fully intend to do so over the weekend, even if it means going out for a hoonlet.

Is there anything available which can do the reverse of this. Eg plan a route on PC and then export it to the TOMTOM?
edit: Sorry, I found it on OpenTom. It's called TYRE and looks kinda interesting.
You can do that with Autoroute (if you have a copy). A small utility called ITNConv - available as a free download - can then convert the subsequent .axe file in to any one of several formats that can then be loaded into a StNav unit. I use it to plan routes for importing in to my Garmin, but ITNConv can also output .itn files for use in a TomTom.edit: Sorry, I found it on OpenTom. It's called TYRE and looks kinda interesting.
