What is the F430 like as a GT?

What is the F430 like on long tours, such as a trip down to Maranello/Modena and back? Perfectly behaved and comfy, or not built for such Euro trips? Anyone done it?

Cant imagine the 430 is much different from a 360 in this respect and i've done 2500 miles in nearly 3 weeks on a trip through Europe in my 360. Very comfortable, good space for luggage and for my ex's shopping sprees etc, not a thing went wrong.

Likewise did 2600 miles in 2 weeks last year in 360 spider. Brilliant! Went through France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Nothing went wrong, very comfortable even on last leg of 650 miles in one day. Front "boot" remarkably roomy for soft bags. If you go down to Maranello get round the factories (Zonda,Lamborghini and Ferrari all pretty easy to get into if booked in advance). Enjoy!!

Perfectly behaved and comfy describes it! Did 2,500 miles in ten days through France, Germany and Switzerland last summer in my 430. Wonderful. Oh and the girlfriend loved it whereas she got tired of being in various Porsches and an Aston on previous trips. Very exciting, a real 'event', yet practical and comfortable. How DO they do it?

did two trips of 2.5k miles each within the space of 3 weeks in the 360.
perfectly behaved, easy to drive when cruising and lots of fun in the twisties.
plenty of luggage space for 2 as well.
a 430 is likely to be even better from what i have heard


i'm rather concerned about describing a supercar in such tones......
isn't part of the magic the fact that it's impractical?.....
some of us are never satisfied!
