Having recently seen a Series 2 Elise with an Exige rear wing fitted in Windsor, I'm thinking of doing likewise.

Has anyone done this, and got any advice on what needs to be done to alter the wing mounting points to fit the Elise engine cover or rear clam?

I realise some of you may consider the idea to be a form of automotive blasphemy, but any practical advice will be greatfully received!

I have seen a full on halfrauds / cesna wing on a S1. Dont do it, just dont. The cock also had blue neons.

Unless you're racing or doing track days and want to play with down force please don't do it - it'll ruin the lines, ruin the rear view and just look a bit vvanky. IMHO.

Agree with everyone so far. I even think the Exige looks better without a wing!

S1 looks daft without it IMHO (S2's I don't talk about blah )

only ussue with putting a wing on an S1 is that you have to be carfull you don't make it impossible to open the engine cover! (hence why most have to use curved wing's)
