Couple of questions re: cameras

Does anyone have stats on the number of previously clean drivers getting caught by the over-zealous proliferation of 'safety cameras'?

Now that government guidelines are apparently getting stricter, are there any stats on removal/resiting of cameras to known 'accident hotspots'?! Can the BiB tell us if it's really happening?
