At our last meet, as you may know we tested 30 TVRs on their deciBels, if your car was one of them and u havent yet put your exhaust mods to us please contact us on ro@tvrcc-hants.co.uk with the details or go to the Hants forum

Would have loved to have gone but would it start, hell no.
Stumped the RAC man and after more digging with a multimeter put it down to the immobiliser's broken.

Cant say there was any there similar to your beast to compare it to!! Hope you got your bonnet sorted ok btw. Someone may have another noisemeter at the next meet, we had the option of 4 then! But all those results were done with one to keep an accurate comparison.
