Good days testing at Brands with two Cerberas on the track amongst the sports/racing class of Ferarris, Porsche, Radical, Marcos and other pretty GT machinery.

The big tyres and Ohlins were great but we suffered a camber issue of understeer at Clearways and Paddock, which sent the tyres off pretty quickly (being addressed) but basically we were on the pace in the sub 50's but never got a clean run at a lap when the tyres were right, so best was a 51 which was really within the car as we weren't breaking late and was the fourth lap on the third session, before the tyres were up to temperature.

Mike, Itsallyellow, did well in their second outing and also posted some great times, putting the Britcars under some pressure.

Great day was had by all and rain only fell on the last outing.

Be good to see Cerbs giving Porsches & Ferrari's a run for their money again (like in the good old days of the Mole Valley/Roll Centre/Martin Short Cerb GT car).... biggrin

Good luck to the both of you ! thumbup

I know from talking to John that he will be concentrating his efforts in the Pro-Mil GT cup.

The dates for 2008 are:

April 12-13 Donington Park GP Circuit
May 17-18 Anglesey International
June 27-28 Oulton Park International
July 19-20 Snetterton
August 9 Brands Hatch GP
September 27-28 Croft
October 19 Silverstone International
November 8-9 Brands Hatch Indy

Racing against the likes of prancing ponies and some serious porkahs I think it's going to be a lot of fun. biggrin

There's full TV coverage of the series on MotorsTV, so you'll have no excuses for missing a race.

John also said he hoped to join the TVRs in a race or two.

John and I are going to be updating his website soon so you can follows John's progress.

The car is beautifully prepared by Andy (APM) and put in some blistering times yesterday from what I'm told, not bad for a first outing in it's current guise. John's a tad competitive too so should make for some good racing. - I can't wait. smile
