I'm emigrating to Switzerland and considering taking the Chimeara over with us.

Fernies modified my exhaust a few years back and it's bloody fantastic. I think they remove all on the cladding, then remove the perforated pipes and weld in 2 solid pipes making it a straight through system.

Anyway, too loud for Switzerland so I need to get a new exhaust. The modification cannot be reversed.

So, if they can take off without damaging, there may be an exhaust someone can have without damaging your intact exhaust system.

Drop me a line if interested.

Have you had any luck finding an exhaust.
I'm living in Austria on the Swiss boarder and will be returning to Bristol in a couple of weeks to pick up my Chimaera 450 and was thinking of getting an exhaust conversion done at the same time. If you are interested then we could do a swap as i see you are from the south.

They are in Hants/Surrey/Susex border, Fernhurst. I purchased my Chim 500 from them last year and just before I sined the deal they started up a car with conversion, I asked for that to be thrown in to the price and job done. Car sounds great

cheers for the offer but Andy (above) and I should be swapping in a week or so. Will miss the roar and bangs.

On another subject, any problems with your standard exhaust in Switzerland? The export Chimaera to Switzerland needed further exhaust mods to pass the Swiss reqs.
