And the only reason me and my friend are going to London is see sweet cars. Love to see a Murcéilago/LP640, Carrera GT etc.

Even to see a V8 Vantage give it some welly would be awsome!

Where would the best places to go to see these cars and hopefully hear them! cloud9

Thanks,

Olie

I recommend the back streets of park lane, last time I saw an SLR (Arash Farbouds), Audi R8 (M3GAN), Maybach 57 and 62, about 20 bentleys and 3 phantoms all in this small area, also if you work your way through to the bugatti garage (hr owens) on one of the squares nearby they usually have a great selection of rolls royces!

The area around Harrods usually has some pretty cool arabs cars...

Cheers and good luck!

On the way to Harrods there is a hotel the Dorchestor I think.

Alot of nice cars are outside there; I have seen a CGT, SLR and Phantom etc

Then go sit outside Harrods if it's a nice day you will see loads of Ferrari's, Astons, screaming by and many parking on the surrounding roads.

If you want to see an Aston and are there early, get yourself down to the Embankment. Watch the rush hour traffic and you'll see an AM or two. I dare say you'll see a few other bits too - its surprising what some of these boys commute in to work in. * cough * eg traxx *cough *

Just put this in the spotted thread....not an uncommon occurance in London (and I mean the calibre of the cars, not the traffic jam!)

Silver 456 ****MEC parked in traffic on Limeburner lane, London, this morning around 8.50am.

4-5 cars behind it was a french plated nero 612 Scag...looked incredible.

About 4-5 cars behind that was a lovely 52 plate DB7.

Then just turning around to miss the queue was a nero 57 plate Maserati QP.

I dont understand why you would travel to london just on the off chance of seeing some exotica. Go and spectate at a driving day at a local track or airfield.

Your therefore going to see and more importantly hear the cars you went to see, and your going to see them being driven.

Elvington at the weekend, LP640, my dad driving it for his 50th birthday.

Brilliant recommend 6th gear experiences to anyone, they have a cracking range of cars. Couple of 360 CS's, Couple of AM Vantages, Galardo's, LP640 and other Murci's. Ariel Atom...well worth a high speed run redfaceredface

On another note, I think it was bond street where my missus insisted on spending a fortune in louis vitton. There was plenty of nice cars, quite depresing though seeing some rich arab teens (17-18) spending £55k on five LV suitcases to then throw them in the back of a 7 series before stepping into a waiting phantom. How the other half live.

Also try Sloane Street, Sloane Square, South Kensington. Bayswater and Holland Park are meant to be pretty decent for nice motors too thumbup

The complex at the top of new bond street always has some nice motors on show. Last time i was there it was dripping with supercars, the nicest being a CGT.
