Problem with WORTEC CAI?

Changing the battery this morning so had an quick look over the engine bay to check all's well when I came across this on the WORTEC CAI:







Anyone with this set up got the same problem? Haven't had time to dismantle it to see where it's coming from or the cause. Only had it fitted last July. Never expected it to rust! Any ideas?

We have never had any issues with this happening before, it looks very close to the plastic surround and I imagine when the units is moving it will contact it and may have rubbed the paint off, normally that plastic piece is cut back to give better clearence. If you need a new pipe just contact your wortec dealer and they will fit a new one FOC.

Thanks for quick response. Everything seems pretty sturdy down there. There's alot of room between the pipe the the plastic trim even when jiggling it about.
