The Rubber buttons on my Chim. plipper have almost worn away to such an extent that to lock the car I have to press on the button with a screwdriver in order to lock the car. I know that one day I'll forget a screwdriver - resulting in a lock out!

Has anyone had a similar problem?

It's a Meta 99T.

Got a spare fob, but the rubber button's shot on that as well.

Thanks .....Got in touch with Carl..apparently the Rubber buttons are no longer available. Option one is to have everything reprogrammed including sending him the main ECU ( £130 'ish).

Option 2 is a bit of rubber and some SupaGlue.Think I'll try the second option first.

There's a couple of different conversions for combining the fob electrics into the handle of the key.
Some put the key into the fob, but I think there's one that puts the fob into the key.
That should provide a new button.
If only I could remember where I saw it.
