wiper arm washer jets

Hi all,

just wondering if anyone has modded the washer jets on S2 to spray from the arm, not the bonnet. Seen a couple of threads, but nothing too definite about the S2.

So who's done what, and has it worked?

I did it when I had a 111R, I bought the parts from a Citroen dealership. Took me about 20 minutes to fit and it worked really well, the only down side was that the spray bar moved up and down the wiper blade depending on the speed you were traveling at.

hi. I've just done this on an S1.

Valeo VM15 about £15" and about 1 metre of 3mm black silicone tubing.

Can have the spray bar top or bottom but I found I got a better spread of the jets under the wiper than over.

Took out one of the original jet sprayers to feed the tube through a grommet.

Job done. Consistent wash

I had these on my old Peugeot 405Mi16. They are so good that it makes you wonder why they don't fit them like this to all cars.

I've done it with the vm15 wiper blade and some tube off egay,also put in the golf relay (allows variable timed wash wipe)£3 from scrappers.
Mines an s1 and the best wiper upgrade imho.

Done on my s2 111s. easy job and used peugeot spray bar.
