Not true, according to Ultima short overhangs let it take road humps in it's stride!!

Bet it would struggle with my car park at home though, I have to back the Ro out to avoid 'scrapeage'...

I can state with 4 years experience that Ultimas's go over speed bumps. Even get on and off Ferries

Ultima have been trying for years to get onto top gear and they've not been allowed yet. I don't see it changing for a while

Isn`t top Gear for production car`s.

Not that it detract`s from the Ultima as a truely fine motor but until they start selling turnkey car`s I doubt they ever will be seen on Top Gear.

And as a non production car is it the fastest car round the track?

Quite prepared for a flaming....not much info on the Ultima webby about wether they do sell Turnkey cars so if they do....well done for a good time.

ie Can I phone up Ultima and say `I want a car like the one wot went round the top gear track and here is my wheelbarrow full of money` (and then get a shot in their demonstrator)

Indeed, just checked their site and no mention - but I'm sure they do, as you see many "factory built" ones for sale in the classifieds.

Ahh! Tempting then, but can`t quite get over the `Jetson` style canopy/driver cell, I wonder if they are planning a Targa?

Ha Ha, Well I don't like to brag, but there's space for about 20 cars!!!

Sadly, there's also about another 20 Flats.....

Oh Yeah. The story I heard was that Top Gear are somewhat embarrased that 30 grands worth of 'Exotica' has humbled £250,000 worth of Koenigseggggg with the Top gear wing thing.. And all the other Hyper Cars!! Don't know if that's true but makes a good story...

If you want open air Ultima fun the Can Am is the one but I am sure it si permanantly open and not a Targa - real Le Mans prototype experence...they are fab.

An ultima capable of beating the top gear record is far from 30k.

Anyway the Atom is still there and that is a genuine 30k car beating pretty much everything.

I don't think its the cost that is the problem with the ultima.
