18" anthracite spiders

Guys,

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I would like some opinions if possible. I am thinking of selling my 18" anthracite spiders currently fitted to my Tuscan. The front 2 have a fair bit of kerb marks on them (not all from me I might add...) but the back 2 are in fine fettle. Any ideas of what would be a reasonable private sale price for all 4, before and after refurbing the front two?

no decisions made as yet David, don't worry. Naturally it isn't my intention to start a bidding war on this, was just curious as to what I could expect for them. If more than 1 party is seriously interested then I'll set a price and whoever can meet it can have them, if I finally make my indecisive mind up that is.....

I bought a set without tyres for about £180 and then refurbed them for £220 (via partex wheels). so I would say £400 if fully refurbed ! Many will try and get a lot more BUT dont forget these wheels are pretty cheap quality. Cost £50 each. Retail at £220 each from memory.

Got the mail, cheers. Tried replying but keeps bouncing back so I have mailed you from here on PH.

I think the most ethical thing to do probably is to put them up on eBay and advertise the fact in the classifieds here. I didn't expect so many people being interested and don't want to upset anyone. I'll use people's suggestions on a reasonable price though to set a reserve and see what happens then.

Are these spare? if not, why dont you refurb them yourself, at racing green you can refurb them for any colour, ie they take yours and give you ready refurbed ones, worksout at 240 or so. ignore me if they are spare as its irrelevant!

Nah, they're not spare, I'm using them at the mo but would like to change to SP12's so trying to determine what sort of price I should be able to get for them. Either that or I refurb the front 2 and leave the SP12's until later in the summer.

I'll leave it until after the Easter weekend and then decide what to do,
