Barnstaple/ North Devon driving roads

Having just relocated to Barnstaple many people have told me there are some fantastic driving roads around here so I would be very thankful if someone could point me in the right direction. I would like to find some great twisties and long open straights....

I have already had a little exploring session and found a few but are there any that you guys know?

The Tiverton to Minehead A396, starts from the tivi end of the north devon link road, very twisty and fun! stop for a sandwich in minehead and go back again, 26miles each way!
