We need alcohol !!!!!
Discussion
We,10 of us in 5 cars and large van, will be landing at Boulogne on Wednesday morning of the race weekend courtesy of Speed Ferries. We dont want to stop for booze in or around Boulogne this year because of the lack of good warehouses/supermarkets etc. What we want is to stop en-route as near to the circuit as possible for wine and beer without getting lost or going too far out of our way. We want wine in boxes preferably from big barrels and a good selection of beer, not the useual French $hite like St.Omar etc. Can anyone recommend such a place please

Careforre, Centre Sud, Le Mans.
<whatever-it-is-going-to-be>, half way down the Mulsanne, Le Mans.
Super U, Arnage.
Close enough to Le Mans for you?
The Careforre in Centre Sud tends to run out of ice but not heard of it running out of beer/wine/meat.
Sounds good to me mate, what time can you deliver, we are in Technoparc.......<whatever-it-is-going-to-be>, half way down the Mulsanne, Le Mans.
Super U, Arnage.

If you want wine at the best prices and a phenomenal selection of beers you won't find elsewhere then there is a place at Allonnes where I buy all my booze - and I live here. The simplest way for me to explain is from Arnage. Go north on the dual carriageway in the industrial centre towards Le Mans and when you reach a big roundabout turn left. Cross over a bridge painted rainbow colours, go past Leclerc on the right, straight on at the roundabout and right at the next lights. it's on the next corner on the left called V&B (Vin et Biere). I recommend them particularly because you don't want traditional french beer.
The other way to reach it is on arrival take the exit from the southern ring road marked Z I Sud and you'll arrive at the same big roundabout from the opposite direction. First exit, rainbow bridge etc. They have hundreds of beers there; belgian, english - all sorts. Oh - and a bar where you can have a "testing session". It's only about three miles from the circuit.
