Half-hide interior? Optional or what?
Discussion
There's a Cerbie advertised here (good price, maybe for a lightweight) with a half-hide interior:

Is this an option or do you reckon just the seller's interpretation of "leather seats, dash, and carpeted door panels...?)

Be careful here. The materials used instead of leather were bloody good quality. When I bought mine, it was a real toss up whether to go for full leather as I couldn't really tell the difference and £2k is a lot of money. I think you'll find that half leather meant that only the seats (front facing parts), steering wheel, door tops, and dash top were leather. The rest is synthetic i.e. door pillar covers, centre console etc. Also, the helmet hole was cloth as was the front cubby. I had my front cubby leathered by the factory - cost another £50 and didn't come as part of the full leather interior. And I had my helmet hole filled with a sub and leather backing board. Again not standard and you don't want to know how much that cost me!
Even with "full hide", which should be specified in the original build sheet or the front page of the service manual if you can get hold of them, some of the bits are vinyl. I think the holey bit on the transmission tunnel is, for example. IIRC full hide just means that all of the seats (not just the facings) and the steering wheel are leather. With the rest, YMMV.
BTW I couldn't let this go:
