Wonder if someone could give me some tips.

I am pretty sure my thermostat is stuck which is the reason for my current over heating problem.

I have a new one and a gasket so all ready to swap it out to test - trouble is it looks a bit tricky to get to - and the bible has not enlightened me - any tips for best way to get the housing off?

Thanks

Jo

I'd be interested to know this too. The bible point out where it is but no help with the actual removal/replacement steps.

1/4" socket with extension works for me, getting it back on is more fiddly (use a bit of gasket sealant to hold the gasket in place, and blue tack to hold the screws in the socket on reassembly). I just pop the dizzy cap off & out of the way, and siphon out the swirl tank.
