Just a quick question people,

How much (roughly) does it cost to learn how to ride? Including the theory test.

Also, do you have to buy your own gear to wear while learning or do they loan you your leathers and helmet?

Thanks

I should no better really! Thanks guys.

This may be a stupid question but do you have to buy your own leathers and helmet for the CBT and practical?

I only ask this because I want to do my CBT to see if I enjoy it. I dont want to waste money on clothing and a helmet only to find I dont want to learn!

IIRC, they're technically not allowed to dish out loan lids anymore.

I did my CBT in August 2005 and I believe it had changed just prior to then.

I had my own helmet and gloves for my CBT/Training/Test. You don't have to spend that much to get your own, its so much nicer not borrowing one someone else has used. A helmet is a personal thing as far as I'm concerned, I mean I wouldn't want to share a toothbrush either! wink
