TomTom One - plan route in advance?
Discussion
Thinking of getting first SatNav, and thinking of the TomTom One XL as i dont need the FM, mp3 etc capabilities of the more expensive models.
One feature that i do want is the ability to pre-programme a route at home, for example to plan a hoon in the country - what is this feature called, and does the One have it?
Cheers

Thanks for the reply. Can you plan the route on a PC and download it? Or share a route with other TomTom users?
You need this: http://www.janboersma.nl/gett/download/main.php and possibly this: http://www.motorcycleinfo.co.uk/index.cfm?fa=conte...Enjoy.
You can plan an itinery, but the when checking the route it will always start from your current location, you cannot set a start point.
So what i do when planning itineraries, is, say you want to plan a particular route from Dieppe to Dijon, I first make a note of how long it reckons it takes to get from my current location to Dieppe, then when planning the route i simply subtract the time and mileage from my current location to dieppe from the total showing on the itinerary.
Er, clear so far?
