Nice one congratulations!

I'm hoping that means the weather is going to suddenly get loads better now, it's just been waiting!

Thanks everyone! Wishing I'd taken the day off now biggrin

I did Mitzy, I was so worried about the U-turn I posted for some last minute encouragment too.
When I'd got the bike round the U-turn, I was shaking so much I didn't think I'd be able to ride off biggrin

Hi,

First of all congrats on passing!!!! thumbup

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost from CBT to pass?
Im desperate to take the course but I am a little strapped at the moment, am I right in thinking its about £600-700?

Thanks.

I've spent quite a bit, all the tests that were cancelled had cost me money because I'd had to have refresher lessons and they don't tell you until the morning of your test that it's off.
CBT - £110
I've easily spent £700 in lessons and 2 tests.

For example this time, I had an hours refresher lesson, an hour before my test, an hours bike hire and the test = £129

My re-settlement grant for leaving the RAF was £534 which helped alot!

In hindsight I would have been better doing a weeks course, instead of fitting it around work then dragging out with 5 cancelled tests.

Well done Rach. Good Feeling ain't it!

Regarding costs. I did CBT then sometime later the rest of the DAS with the same school. I'm sure it totalled £600 in the end. But the school I was with charge a fixed fee - No charge for refresher hours due to cancellation (I attended 1 Saturday morning due to a cancellation) and no addition charge for refresher hours if you fail first time bar the additional test fee to the DSA (£60 I think).

The woman I was learning with is pretty bloody cheeky to be honest. I paid for at least an hours lesson before each cancelled test.
I booked a lesson on Monday this week for 15.30, she didnt turn up until 16.10! I had a text at 15.40 telling me she'd be another 10 mins.

Today she told me to be there for 07.00, another lad 07.30 and she didn't turn up until 07.40! So I'd been sat in the cold for 40 minutes.

I'm so glad I passed today, I hate being dicked about but there's only one other school in the area and they're booked up for months, and that explains why. If I keep my patients waiting even 5 minutes they get a moody on!
