With all the heavy frost currently happening here, this question is for all those Cerbera and Tuscan owners who keep their cars outside of a garage.
I've noticed when I open my non-TVR car in the mornings that the windows are generally iced shut, so it's advisable to avoid opening them until they defrost. But with Cerbera's and Tuscan's when you open the door this is by the window dropping first and then the door popping open. Does this method of opening still work?

My 2001 cerb lives outside all the time... and sometimes has refused to open window & door in the recent cold weather. I generally loosen the seal around the window by hand before I try to open it. In the worst conditions, a few litres of tepid water is needed to defrost the window itself. Recently I could not depress the opening buttons because some water got into the plastic cover... defrosted it by holding my palm against it for a few secs.
Never got locked out completely with this cerb (or my previous one) though.

I had problems with the push button door openers freezing up on my Chim and to a lesser extent what you described with door opening. I cured this with a quick spray of silicone lubricant around the rubber seals of both. Beware of overspray unless you like things well lubricated. Best I finish now.
