Met an old mate of mine in town today, and he was telling me about a pub in the Notts area that has lots of car meets. It's called MFH or some such initials?

MFN - just off the A610 near Eastwood, owned by one of the original line up from Showaddywaddy. Mostly seem to have a bike night on a Thursdayand cars Sunday (a bit Max power though!)

It's ok for music, not so good for cars and is actually short for 'Middle of F--king Nowhere'!

I saw them live in the seventies, De Montfort hall, Leics paperbag

My mate Andy was a Ted, so I went with him, but I was a punk, my presence at the gig was problematical hehe

Word of caution though chaps, Notts Police have powers now through the county courts to impose conditions on vehicles and drivers in more than a group of six in any one place, which could be described as making themselves a nuisance.

Any further offence within 2 yrs of the first offence will be judged as comptent of court and could land your car being seized and you in prison for upto 2yrs

It would be intresting to see their reaction. A couple of years ago myself and another couple of people with classics accidentaly crashed a McBurger cruise. They were quite put out that the supercharged TR6 made more noise (straight through race exhaust) than their "modified" hatches.
