Radio V's Heated rear screen

on a E46, my radio reception goes bad when I put heated rear screen on, CD's are OK. Any ideas?

Mine does the same so put a CD on when De-misting the rear screen.
When its clear swap back to Radio.

my E36 does it too, I've heard that its probably a bad earth but I keep forgetting to check it out

Heater wire in your rear screen is faulty and short circuiting (if you can call it that) - common problem.
