I had some blancmange once. It was bloody bland.

And a garage ham sandwich. Bland as fk. Freshly cut? What does that mean anyway?

So, who's had the mildest, baddest bland food?

And yes, someone feel free to post the 'I'll have an English' clip.

Those rice cake biscuit things that look like they're made of white Rice Krispies and taste of absolutely nothing.

I love bread sauce with my chicken, but years ago my mother made it without any cloves!
To this day everytime she puts it on a table in front of me, I smell it before putting it on my plate.

That american beef jerky stuff in the supermarket. After the spice coating disappeared it was like chewing a rubber band.

Then in Canada I tried some homemade mule deer jerky and it was 100 times tastier.

I'm aiming to pick up some good quality biltong (or maybe make my own) soon!

Unseasoned hummous (i.e. without garlic / salt) served in error to me whilst eating in Patogh's Persian restaurant in London.

Tasted of wallpaper paste.

Won't hold it against them though, their koobideh kebabs are superb.

Recently had a dragon fruit.... looked so exciting and tasted like a kiwi on detox. Bland, no flavour, full of tiny seeds.
Maybe I did it wrong hehe

I like Jerky now and after tasting Biltu offered to me by a South African that I was working for one time, have tried to seek out similar foodstuffs to try. I say that I like Jerky "now" because when I first tried it I was not paying to much attention to what I was doing and promptly emptied the bag of silica gel supplied to keep the Jerky dry all over the meat and proceeded to eat it and was not over impressed with the taste to say the least! I pay more attention to what I eat now yes
