The site seems easy to navigate and is clear.

The club finder is almost useless for newbies.

Can you do it on a postcode basis? have options to list clubs bast on <10 or <25 miles? Then let people sift through sorting by style?

At the moment, as someone who hasn't even heard of most of the listed styles, who lives close to four listed regions, its really not that user friendly.

Good luck with it.

in the new to martial arts section, you might want to include an explanation of all the different styles, pros\cons etc to help people make a choice. Would also be nice if you could search by post code as mentioned above & also that the list of styles was filtered to the location - meaning people will spend less time getting no results.

Looks simple & clear, a site I would like to use.

Some comments:

- Your shop pictures are WAY too LARGE. You want them < 200KB.
- I would have a paragraph on what each Martial Art is, as being a newbie I have no idea.
- Gallery section made my browser go VERY slowly and I have a pretty good computer. Get rid of all the guff.
- Tables should be used for data & div's for layout.
- Update your Disclaimer and privacy policy v1.0 with a name and address.

looks good. "Website Admin blokey" as a name for admin is strange for an otherwise professional looking site smile

some good stuff there

on the club search i just did northwest but even then north west is a big area. if not doing the postcode thing you could just put which town their in as some clubs dont include the town name

you could also do a chart as in what martial art is suitable for your needs

so eg

are you looking to learn because combat is involved in ur job - eg doorman - then this that and the other wud be suitable as it involves alot of holds and close combat

do you want to learn self defence then try xyz

are you doing it to get fit then so and so are good for physical work out.

do you want something for a child

also the prob with the image is that you need thumbnails - smaller versions of the actual pics and an option enlarge which would link into the larger pics if the person requires a close look
