Yep but only managed 5 laps before a suspension problem caused the front wheel to start rubbing on the body work. Found out I had cracked one of the front chassis tubes as well so decided not to go out again.
The good news was the new suspension setup is a big improvement with the car pulling 1.1 G on road tyres which is about as good as it can get. Already got the suspension stripped down ready to weld and reinforce the chassis.
Kevin Leaper of Practical Performance Car was also there doing some more research in my car.

You must have been choked to only do 5 laps ..
It was a test session and so it did its job. The 5 laps was enough data logging to prove that the new setup is a big improvement. I found some problems which need sorting out when it didn't matter. When the car is pushing the envelope as much it is... things will not always go right so you either accept them and get on with sorting things out or you beat yourself up, then accept them and then sort them out. Usually the amount of effort used in beating yourself up is more than it takes to sort things out so in line with the new eco-friendly world we live in... I tend to conserve energy instead of wasting it. I get very philosophical about these things these days. Zen and the art of Wedge development.... Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmm
