whats the best oil for tuscan

Always used as recommended by TVR - Mobil 1.

I asked about oil consumption recently and consensus is one litre used every 1000 miles. I'm pretty sure mine uses less than this. So no, not necessary to check oil every day unless you do a 1000 miles a day!

I would rather use a standard semi synthetic and change every 3000 miles. Mobil 1 is a bit too thin and the advantages are really only there wheh looking at ultra long service intervals in my opinion.

Too thin? Depends on which viscosity you go for, e.g. 0W-40, 15W-50 etc....
