Was trying to look at the driver, and he's in focus a bit in some, but photo 4 seem to be have some blurring applied, but looking closer I think pre-blur he was, as they say in the states, flipping the birdI heard looks similar to the M250 prototype (good thing), has lean burn V6 with 350bhp (very good thing) and will cost high 40's (surprisingly good thing), so those people who had to sell their elise upon hearing the patter of tiny feet will be able to get back into a lotus. Should be a brilliant car.

Exactly. Case in point, me. Selling my two seated in about a month due to mini mahju arriving. What I need is a 3 year old 2+2 eagle and I would be ahappy man.

Engine size on DVLA is 3458cc.
Yeah and is apparently (according to Mike Kimberley in an interview re Eagle) sourced from Toyota.....so I've looked through all their models and found this info re the engine - its from a Lexus, the RX 4x4 of all things!! :-
http://www.lexus.co.uk/range/rx/specifications/tec...
Official figures show 272bhp at 6200rpm (nice and peaky, lovely) and max torque of 342Nm at 4700rpm (although expect this to be different in a more lightweight sportscar, the weight of the big heavy RX will be sapping some Nm and pushing its peak rpm up in comparison).
Just hope it doesn't come with the same 5speed auto box lol

What ever happened to Lotus' 1990's tradition of leaving the doors till the last minute?
