Pad, Steering Wheel?

ABS, Traction Control, Stability?

I'm not paticulalrly quick on it, i'm using a pad, with ABS on and everything else off. I do have a steering wheel, but its a really small madcatz one and its awful. Played with the official one last week and was pretty quick with that.

Pad with all aids on, low AI on other cars and full driving line.

I only got it the other day and am still learning the ropes, I've nearly finished the proving grounds races, so turned up the AI and damage last night.

Pad and everything off, Manual gear changes.

Tried it with ABS on but it cuts in too soon and isn't immediately obvious it's doing it apart from the small flashing light near the tacho. If I start locking up the wheels with ABS off it's immediately obvious due to the screeching, smoke and thick black 11's, meaning it can quickly be corrected.

So the pads the way to go? I do use manual gears, although I'll try turning the ABS off to see if it'll make any difference to my pace. I'm doing well offline, but i'm crap online
