Hi all, I haven't got a date yet but here's the thread for this year's big Kent Run, which is designed around super low cars and I believe we had a few Superleggera's along last year...

ALthough there's no date set YET, it's never to early to register your interest, and last year I had to turn away about 25 entries as it got too big!

Regards,
Jay

Lynne, speak to Lisa when you see her tomorrow. She went on a sighting run before last year's event so should be able to give you an idea. I believe Jay has a slightly different route in mind this year to favour anyone in a low slung car.
We grounded out in a couple of places on the sighting run, which is one of the reasons we didn't turn up on the day, but hopefully things will be different this year.

Hi all,
As Derek mentioned his uber-low Diablo had a couple of scrapes on the testing last year, but I've ironed out more of the creases this time around. I hope Derek agrees it's fair to say it was the towing eye, mounted beneath the front splitter, that was snagging occasionally on the GT, and even last year I didn't hear any complaints from the Ultima, or the Ferraris or TVRs...
I'm at 75 cars so far, from obscure old Pontiac's to Koenigseggs, so I'm sure it'll be a decent mix!

Head over there, send off the entry e-mail, add your name to the list and I'll keep you updated with all the latest, as and when.
Much obliged!
Jay

I must respond directly to this here - IIRC, the places you had issues last time round were the narrower sections winding southwards, out in the countryside, and then once as we approached Edenbridge for the end point. The changes I'm making this year are primarily to those sections and because of that particular issue. We grounded out in a couple of places on the sighting run, which is one of the reasons we didn't turn up on the day, but hopefully things will be different this year.
Best regards,
Jay
