Because it didnt happen frown

Turned up at 11.50 only to find out the guy was expecting be at 11.30 and so had buggered off out on his bike for a while. Apparently they had tried to call me - but i was riding there so obvously didnt pick up the call frown Have no idea where the communications broke down their end as i did confirm argue

Waited for an hour and a half and he didnt call back after leaving a message on his mobile. Bit p*ssed off, took afternoon off work etc.

Also, I ordered a pinlock for my S1 from Germany - they sent the wrong thing. I sent it back 26th Feb (paid extra and had it insured) and it hasnt yet arrived in Germany (apparently) furious Royal mail say i have to wait 20 working days to make a claim... curse

All in all...not a good biking week grumpy

On the (small) plus side, i passed my theory today, so one small step closer smile

EFA, have you never heard of embellishing the truth man?

However the second try went fairly well!!

Got the hang of the ER5 quite quick but kept putting a foot down on the U turn first off (had only been on the bike 10 min tho!!) Soon out on the road, getting absolutely freezing!! It snowed, it hailed, there where spine chilling gusts - and i got off my Varadero with nice snug heated grips to a bike without - while my instructor rubbed in the fact he had just turned his on high frown !!

Anyway, im knackered. Got picked up on a few things - getting 'the system' a bit arse about face - especially when slowing from high speed - but then im not used to that biggrin. Also hesitated before overtaking then ended up doing it too late and clipped a solid white line coming back it - but again - the 125 doesnt do overtaking!!! So im not going to beat myself up over that - just wont hesiate again.

Also got moaned at for stopping at to many roundabouts where my instructor said i should have slowed down earlier and then slotted into the traffic. Only other thing - some traffic lights turned amber and i didnt stop - i powered up - oops. Got a b*llocking for that one, rightly so (even though he said in the 'real' world he would have done the same!! Got the hang of u-turn by the end of the day...just a slightly different technique to the one i had been doing...

All in all - not a bad day, just bloody cold! Just got to practice all i have been taught now - when i have had some sleep smile

Oh yes - do tell. The cerb is still running fine BTW after sorting out my door/window control unit woes. Even in todays rain it didn't put a foot wrong.

Take care.

Tim.

Yes I am - and very happy too. The car is fantastic, I came from bikes in my younger days (about 10 years ago) when I had a GPZ500 then a ThunderCat (great bike). I was then sensible for about 8 years until I fell in love with the TVR Cerbera. I saw Rob's which drove very well and couldn't resist.

Rob - I saw you have been dabbling in the Tuscan forums and asking questions about the S6 engine, I thought you might have some exciting news.
