Urgent help needed!!
Discussion
Hi,
We have recently installed a new crower 3 plate clutch in our altered over the winter. As we have come to load up the car we have found a problen to which we need a solution.
When trying to roll the car backwards with the clutch pedal depressed the car does not move as the clutch is still engaged. We have checked the pedal clearance which is between the 50 - 50 thou tolance given when checked using the DTI. With our old 2 plate clutch we had to set the gap between the front cover and the donut ring to .702 and were wondering if this was different with a 3 plate clutch?
Any ideas of whats wrong then please let us know ASAP.
Thanks in advance.

whats the set up on clutch? email if dont wanna post it here.
Luke,
The current base pressure is 3 1/2 turns which is 960lbs. Off hand i cant remember the weight in the fingers but it is almost the maximum amount you can fit on the length of the bolt. These settings are probably totally wrong as we didn't have a clue where to start from as again its a whole new learning curve. This evening we took off all the base pressure and the clutch would then release.
Thanks
