Historic Sports Car Club meeting at Donnington. A few Midlands PH'rs went last year and had a good day out. Anyone up for a repeat?

I live in Castle Donington. yay!

Never been to this, is there a cost? Not to sure whether my car will be alive by the weekend mind, but would be interested in going.

Suggest we meet up in the infield main area hard standing, on the edge of the bank adjacent to the Spitfire, around 10:00-10:30am'ish. Hopefully they will have the breakfast/burger vans out along there too.

I will be in either BG, or more than likely, a yellow Panda on an 08 plate.

I won't be ignoring you but I'll probably park in my usual spot near the start / finish line. I can see most of the track from there, apart from the Craner Curves, if I stand in the back of the truck. I'll pop over and say hello sometime during the day.

Hi Emma, I'm fine thanks - hope you are too. Sorry you can't make it this weekend, no doubt I'll see you at another event this year.

Weather looks to be appalling, still going though, will take a flask of tea and some biscuits, and pootle about from viewpoint to viewpoint in the Panda. I don't think it will be very busy.

Think I saw you today - were you with a 4x4 and an open top that was having some problems getting up the banking? hehe

I parked at Melbourne and later McLeans, was quite a decent day of racing

The Panda was indeed BG the 4x4 was my Jeep and the open top was Hot_Stu's Frogeye Sprite. The Frogeye lost its exhaust later on. Hope you got home ok Stu?
