Hi,
Looking at power upgrades for the GTV 97 2 litre. Superchip 299 for 10bhp. Anybody got any other idea what is available and can make a real difference?
I dont want to start messing around with the engine internals, I just need to give it a little extra as its an everyday car.
Any advice much appreciated.

do you think 10 bhp is worth it??

Your better off spending your money on an airfilter & exhaust...

So if I'm looking at exhaust and induction, anybody got ideas which work the best? Engine is out for the next week so could do with getting things in place before I pick it up.
Cheers

Those are in contradiction with each other. If people could make a real difference without "messing around with the engine" then people wouldn't both rebuilding engines.

You'd be lucky to get 5bhp from that, maybe 12 total with the chip. That's about £50 per bhp, less than tuning TVR RV8s. Sounds like what you really want is a ported 2.2 litre engine with a racey cam; ie a lot of engine work. The Arese V6 would "make a real difference" and is a very nice engine smile

BMC carbon induction kit, loads of exhausts for the GTV... Ragazzon are very popular with GTV owners, what configuration depends on how loud you want.
